Sports Bar Strategy and Concept Development for a National Rollout

THINK Hospitality was appointed to transform a 20-year-old student-focused bar into a contemporary sports bar brand with the commercial potential to scale across city centre locations in the UK. Working in close partnership with the client, interior designer and architect, we re-evaluated the existing offer, challenged legacy assumptions and reviewed key hospitality, leisure and entertainment trends shaping the modern sports bar landscape.
Through workshops, market analysis and brand positioning exercises, THINK Hospitality led the development of a refreshed concept that blends high-energy social experiences with strong commercial drivers. The strategy introduced a range of signature features including an eye-catching Budvar beer tank, themed party rooms, immersive leisure activities and extensive multi-screen coverage showcasing major sports alongside emerging and alternative sporting content.
Designed to appeal to a broad guest base and drive all-day trading, the concept has since expanded across the UK and received multiple industry awards, reinforcing its position as a leading next-generation sports bar brand.
