EMEA F&B Strategy Development

Hilton Hotels and Resorts engaged Think Hospitality Consulting to develop Hampton by Hilton's F&B strategy across EMEA, encompassing 150 hotels with a strong pipeline of future openings. This strategic initiative aimed to modernise and simplify the F&B offerings, streamline the core proposition across the brand and deliver for our guests, align with the new globally evolved brand and position Hampton by Hilton as the brand of choice for franchise partners by improving cost controls and operational efficiencies. The scope included all-day dining, bar, in-room amenities, delivery, retail and prospective partnerships.

Competitor and Market Analysis: Analysed over 40 competitors and visited properties in the limited-service and lifestyle space to understand their guest promise and proposition. Conducted in-depth research, including industry reports, market data, and expert interviews, to identify emerging trends, shifts in consumer preferences, evolving competitor strategies, and the latest innovations across various sectors such as technology, workplace and travel catering, convenience retail and advanced vending.
Strategic Development: Developed a hypothesis which was rigorously tested through a comprehensive market study, competitive analysis, qualitative evaluations of the existing proposition, quantitative data analysis and the formulation of a commercially and operationally viable strategic direction aligned with the brand's new evolution.
Stakeholder Consultation: Conducted thorough consultations with stakeholders across multiple functions, including supply chain, commercial, franchising, F&B and operations, from global HQ and EMEA regional offices. Engaged property leaders from across our network, refining and fine-tuning the strategy before approval.

A new, simple and efficient 'kit of parts' approach for F&B that evolves perceptions of the brand, enhances Hamptonality and satisfies guests and owners with relevant and dynamic choices, encapsulating all-day dining, bar, in-room amenities, delivery, retail and prospective partnerships.​
