Tashas Group
Restaurant Brand Market Entry and Localisation Strategy

Tashas Group, founded by CEO Natasha Sideris, is a leading casual dining operator with multiple acclaimed concepts across South Africa, the UAE, Saudi Arabia and the UK. Known for its distinctive design, elevated café culture and award-winning restaurants, including a venue recognised by the World’s 50 Best, the group has become a benchmark for premium casual dining internationally.
THINK Hospitality were appointed to support the brand’s UK market entry ahead of the launch of Tashas Café at London’s Battersea Power Station, one of the capital’s most high-profile mixed-use developments. Our brief focused on delivering strategic, insight-driven localisation tailored to the UK’s competitive restaurant landscape.
The scope included menu review and localisation, brand positioning refinement, pricing strategy and service style alignment. To achieve this, THINK Hospitality undertook a deep evaluation of Tashas’ operating model across existing regions, mapping critical success factors and identifying where adaptation would enhance guest relevance in the UK.
Leveraging our extensive experience in the UK’s hospitality sector and the broader Think Hospitality network, we engaged operators already trading within Battersea Power Station to gather insider perspectives on guest behaviour, commercial expectations and operational realities. These insights shaped strategic recommendations that positioned Tashas Café for success in its new market.
