James Hacon guest speaker at Nova SBE Westmont Institute of Hospitality

The team at Nova SBE Westmont Institute of Tourism & Hospitality invited managing partner, James Hacon along to work with the masters students as part of their Immersive Hospitality Week.

The students were given two sustainability related real world challenges and had three days to develop a solution and pitch it back to five of us. The pitches were first class and really very impressive, with creative and commercially-minded solutions.

Alongside this the university invited industry onto campus to take part in a workshop that was delivered by Will Browning and Patrick Hanna from The Sustainable Restaurant Association, where he contributed a session about community engagement and charitable partnerships, talking about Melting Pot Foundation, Only A Pavement Away, Asma Khan, KERB, The Jamie Oliver Group, John Castley at Wild Hearth Bakery and Peeter Pihel.
