Think Hospitality Ventures has launched a joint venture company, called Fork It together with a local partner in Slovakia, focusing on opportunities in Central Europe. The business will own and operate food and beverage outlets in Slovakia, Hungary & the Czech Republic, including franchised brands and its own newly established concepts. The company has a strong pipeline and is on site with its first three units at a shopping centre in Bratislava.
Think Hospitality Chief Executive, James Hacon says “When setting up our ventures division we recognised a strong opportunity in Central Europe, where eating out of the home is on the rise and where consumers are actively looking for new food experiences. We had identified a strong local partner and have spent a year negotiating a strategic growth path with two shopping centre operators. We are very excited by the partnership and believe that the market has significant potential for British fast casual and casual dining brands.”
